News From the Worshipful Master...
Worshipful Master
Jack Gustafson

Brethren,

I feel deeply honored to serve as Worshipful Master of J. H. Gurley Lodge for the coming Masonic year. I will perform these duties to the best of my ability.

I want to congratulate A. C. Johnson and his wife Jacque for all the hard work and dedication they put into this lodge for the past year.

At our June stated meeting the proficiency examination on Josh Kelinske was conducted by Brother Mike Waldrop. A job well done in teaching Josh his work in such short time. Brother Lekinske was also installed as a Jr. Steward.

At our June stated meeting it was presented to the lodge some ideas that might help get us involved within the community and some sort of charitable fund raiser. Some suggestions included a Hamburger Cook Out fund raiser (September), Garage Sale (October), and Blood Drive (No date has been set yet).

If you have any other suggestions, please contact us and let us know. We would like to start immediately collecting for our garage sale, which will be held on the back side of the Scottish Rite parking lot. The sooner we get a large quantity of items collected we can set a date to have the sale. (Hopefully the middle of October).

Please call for info on where to bring your items. We can arrange for pick up of your good useable items. Call Jack Gustafson at work 752-1618 or home 848-2517.

I also want to remind you that the ladies are always invited to dinner on stated meeting nights.

Fraternally,

Jack Gustafson
Worshipful Master
